WISCONSIN TWISTERS MISSION STATEMENT
"The Wisconsin Twisters Fastpitch Organization was established to give our athletes the ability to play softball at the highest level; we offer skill-development, experiences and opportunities that facilitate their growth into healthier, happier citizens. Our program focuses on family values that collectively strengthen the moral character of all participants, families and community."
The Wisconsin Twisters strive to give back to a particular community/group every year. We aim to play for a cause to bring awareness and outreach in any way we can. This year we are bringing awareness to the Special Olympics! We play this year for inclusion and acceptance. The Special Olympics mission is “to provide sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.” The Twisters’ values are deeply rooted in family and community. This year, we stand with the Special Olympics to “empower all athletes to shatter stereotypes and exceed their personal bests on the playing field and in life.”

FROM YOUR PRESIDENT
Hello Twister Nation. My name is Todd Olle, returning President of the Wisconsin Twisters. First of all, welcome all the new twisters and families and welcome back returning members! We are all very happy and excited to have you joining us for this 19th Twister season. I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and upcoming Happy Holidays.
Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for family and friends; that includes all of you. I speak for the entire Board when I say thank you for being a twister. Being a Twister is more than being a part of a youth sports organization, it is being part of a legacy and a family. Our organization is based on a strong mission and family values. I hope we are able to embody all of our values and mission in all we do through softball.
So far this season, we have had 1 tournament (unfortunately one day was rained out), a great parent meeting, and a wonderful coaches meeting. Our year is just beginning. I am looking forward to getting started with our indoor practices where we can learn new things, develop new skills, and bond with new teammates. Soon after, we will be having our holiday party!
I understand there is a lot of information to keep straight. If there are any questions, please remember there is a plethora of online information available to all of our families. We have a very informative website, Facebook, instagram, and newsletters. When in doubt, please reach out to your Parent Reps. Also, the Board is always available to answer questions and assist!
I hope everyone has an amazing holiday with their families and continues to stay safe and healthy. While we continue to work hard in the off season, please remember the mission and values we represent. Thank you all for actively choosing to be part of our organization and I can't wait to see you all January 22 for our Holiday party!
Sincerely,
Todd Olle
President
